A hundred years ago, Xuanqi Sect's senior disciple Xue Mo betrayed his sect for a courtesan named Mo Xuefei.
A hundred years later, his beloved was dead. Carrying Mo Xuefei's body, Xue Mo returned to the sect. So much had happened in the intervening century. He wanted only to bury the past alongside his beloved and resume his life in the sect.
But the sect was no longer the one it had been a hundred years ago, and his fellow disciples were no longer the familiar faces of old. The new sect leader, Shi Tianlin, was an open-minded man, and under his leadership, Xuanqi Sect had undergone a fundamental transformation.
