Yuwen Lin, the newly appointed commander of the Guard Camp, an intelligence-gathering unit, in the Yuwen Dynasty, is a young prince and a hardworking, hands-on leader. When he learns that the case of the stolen disaster-relief grain bound for Lianghuai is connected to the Wuzong Sect of the martial world, he rushes out of the capital to investigate. But... before he can accomplish anything, he falls right into a trap.
A certain someone plotting a rebellion would be bad enough, but now Nanjiang and the Five Poisons are involved too, the border is in turmoil, and the Prince of Lin is in dire straits.
The affairs of the martial world are a real headache.
The Wuzong Sect's seal-holder is no ordinary man. They say there's a knife behind his gentlemanly smile, and he has a penchant for setting traps for people himself. He even once outmaneuvered the previous seal-holder...
Who's afraid of whom!
The seal-holder is dark and twisted, while the young prince is full of righteous passion.
If I love you, I'll never give up on you.
----------------------------Don't be fooled by the introduction. What the author writes often ends up a million miles away from what they had in mind.
Though it may look like there are lots of elaborate details, I can't actually write an epic. The story isn't complicated, and I won't abandon it. It's a 1v1 pairing. I just hope it won't be boring, QAQ.
My history knowledge is terrible.
The setting is mostly made up.
Please don't take the geography, events, or general knowledge as corresponding to reality.
