[Reborn!] The Elite and the Hoodlum

There isn't always a clear line between an elite and a hooligan. Hibari Kyoya is an elite among hooligans, while Fujita Mitsuki is a hooligan among elites. When Namimori's Bird King meets its top student, when the weapon she takes a hit from is a thick English dictionary, the clash between knowledge and strength begins. My clumsy drawing of top student Mitsuki www -> Fujita Mitsuki's character design The Hibari in this shameless writer's story isn't the kind of lunatic who swings his tonfas at everyone, especially the heroine. So far, Hibari's hit Tsuna the most, followed by Rokudo Mukuro. Ahem, and I'm not hinting that 1827 or 1869 is the one true pairing. Hibari is chuunibyou, not a sadist. He doesn't have the time or inclination to send the heroine to the hospital with his tonfas at every turn. He might do it if he didn't see her as a woman at all, or if she were a strong fighter. But Mitsuki in this story is clearly neither, although her ridiculous personality might still earn her a few whacks from Hibari. So if you're wondering why Hibari sometimes lets the heroine off and whether that means he's out of character, please take another look at his personality. He's a chuunibyou, not a lunatic.
