A little introduction to the heroine (please don't criticize the setting =.=):

Lesley Evelyn is an orphan and the adopted daughter of the Forbes family. She is Caroline's younger sister and has a daughter, Mildred Evelyn.

She is descended from a union of Eastern and Western witch bloodlines. Her special witch heritage is sealed, and her only remaining ability is an exceptionally keen sense of smell. Simply put, she can smell the difference between vampires and humans, and so on~

This is a Vampire Diaries fanfic, full of melodramatic angst. Don't read if that's not your thing.

There may be a little angst, but the ending is happy.

=.= Actually, the author's original idea was just to try pairing the Big Boss with someone, so the story begins at the end of Season Two.
