(Yuan Suiyun) Meeting Jin Lingzhi

Background: This takes place after Jin Lingzhi returns from Bat Island. Hu Tiehua and the others are celebrating Madam Jin's birthday, but Hu Tiehua runs away to avoid marrying her.

Why did we both fall into the sea, yet she survived while Bat Prince disappeared? I have never been able to believe that someone as proud as him would choose to die in such a wretched way. In the eyes of the world, he was not only refined and graceful, but also humble and indifferent to worldly affairs. He was the most elegant of the blind, and the most powerful of schemers.

Jin Lingzhi loved Hu Tiehua and was infatuated with Yuan Suiyun, so she leapt into the sea with Yuan Suiyun in her arms.

I couldn't come to terms with Yuan Suiyun's death for a long time, and that's how this story came to be.
