Mermaid? Sea Monster!

When the ocean expands its territory once more, the age of humanity ends and the age of merfolk begins. They occupy the newly reshaped continents and shallow seas, but dare not venture into the deeper ocean. That is the domain of the sea monsters...

In Greek mythology, merfolk are called Sirens, a kind of sea monster rather than divine being. They are all female; male merfolk are sons of the sea god, so this story has only female merfolk. As for the protagonist? He's not a merfolk~~ It's the Year of the Snake, so what a shame not to write about snakes ╮(╯▽╰)╭ And so, this is a story about a handsome snake-man and a fish-man. What's a fish-man, you ask? A man born to merfolk without a fish tail.
