[The Grave Robbers' Chronicles] A Perfect Plan

I watched Sand Sea yesterday, then rewatched Tibetan Sea Flower. I can't help feeling that everything Wu Xie did was for Lao Zhang. While Lao Zhang was inside the Bronze Gate, Wu Xie was risking his life in the polar wilderness. We always assume without a second thought that Wu Xie will spend those ten years living an ordinary life, become a plump little shopkeeper with a beer belly, and then happily go meet Xiaoge. But maybe things won't work out so neatly. Wu Xie has narrowly escaped death time and again. What if he doesn't survive? When the Bottle Imp comes out of the Bronze Gate, what will he see? What will he think? Will he ask, "Where is Wu Xie?" Thinking about it made me want to write a story. I often feel that writing takes restraint, or else too much of the author's personal feelings spill into the story and the characters go out of character. But while writing this, I simply couldn't stop myself from saying some things. They aren't really what Xiaoge is thinking; maybe they're just what I'm thinking. So inevitably, this story bears a very strong personal imprint. Out-of-character moments may be unavoidable, so please think carefully before opening it. Theme:
