[Film and TV Crossover] The World Ends Wherever I Go

Xu Ran, a retired special forces soldier vacationing in Hong Kong, wakes up to see a gigantic unidentified creature thumping past his window, followed right after by an unidentified metal object doing the same. What the hell is that?! Before he can make heads or tails of it, still staring in shock and confusion, the metal object reaches out, scoops him up, and takes him to a place called the Shatterdome base. "Your body handles pressure perfectly, and so does your mind. Would you be interested in joining us to save the world?" asks a Japanese beauty named Mori Mako, her expression blank as she holds a thick folder. Later on... He discovers that even after saving this world's coastal cities from monster attacks, the very next moment he's off saving innocent civilians in another world from a zombie horde. In the end, even a president held hostage by terrorists and a bank robbed by a magician come looking for him! It never ends! And his partners range from an Australian ace Jaeger pilot to a former FBI agent, and even a special forces soldier down on his luck! Hey, wait! Why is a weird thing like a magician mixed up in this too? "Mr. President! Now is not the time to polish your limited-edition Jordans! We'd better run, the bombers are coming!!"
