I dedicate this story to the legendary superstar Anita Mui.
I've loved her for nearly eleven years and have always wanted to do something for her. At last, I overcame some of my own mental barriers and wrote this story, which bears the unmistakable mark of my feelings for her. I also hope to learn how to handle genres I never dared to try before. Some friends may find parts of the story very familiar and know what I have in mind. I won't draw any conclusions or offer any opinions. After all, fiction is rooted in life but rises above it, so you can simply take it with a smile.
I've always imagined Anita playing roles she never got to play and singing songs she never got to sing, because even after twenty years at the top of the entertainment world, she still seemed to have endless potential. My love for her hasn't lessened in the slightest since she left us. The more I learn about her, the more I appreciate her. Of course, she was only human, with flesh and blood and flaws, and it's precisely this version of her that I admire. Her life was colorful and full. Heaven gave her a talent and noble character beyond anyone else's reach, yet took away some of the things she longed for. I believe she's doing well in heaven, and has become an angel again.
