Plain-language blurb:
A newcomer, the young lady somehow finds herself surrounded by rumors for no reason at all;
In a muddle, she marries a man who's notorious outside the home but virtuous and gracious within it.
Technical blurb:
Stir-frying, pan-frying, steaming, deep-frying, stewing, braising, and roasting: she's skilled at every method.
The eight great culinary traditions of Sichuan, Shandong, Jiangsu, and Guangdong: she knows them all, and has a trick for each.
Fancy-schmancy blurb:
A golden cup, a silver cup, delicious dishes that make your mouth water.
Cool autumn nights, cool summer nights, embracing beneath the moonlight.
In plain words:
It's really just a well-educated young woman meeting a half-baked pseudo-literary foodie. She'll keep him well fed and watered, and also double as his tutor. They lead an ordinary, peaceful life, chatting about family and everyday affairs. The key word is just one: food!

My author page:
P.S. This story features both delicious food and medicinal cuisine. Most of it is based on various sources (the rest is made up by yours truly), and it all has some basis in fact. However, I haven't tried everything myself (so the made-up parts are actually more reliable), so please be cautious if you try them in practice! The story does not involve historical events from any particular dynasty. Much of the food, medicine, poetry, and other literary references are quoted or adapted (if anything seems off, let me know; I'm very open to suggestions). There are too many sources to list them all, and I've already confessed to making things up, so the nitpickers can save themselves the trouble of digging around!

I gave this to you as a thank you.
In this case, it is not perfect after all. I always feel that it is stained, and I abandon the article.
I'm very curious about who would keep such a servant who would ruin the master's reputation. This is actually a personal servant.
Damn, do you have to torture me at the end? I cried, so sad
Is this aunt the heroine's biological mother?
Wow, it's so sad to see it. . .
I really didn't expect Ru'er's ending. . . This is the end, the good intentions are not over yet, wait for the extra chapter~
Congratulations on the completion, haha!
Why does such a good book have so few reviews? I'll come back to make up for it after I finish my work~
It's not easy. I finally eat meat.
