Heroes of the Sui and Tang Dynasties: Strength and Gentleness in Harmony

This story was inspired by the 2004 TV series Heroes of Sui and Tang Dynasties. All the character portrayals and plot developments are based on the series, so if you dislike the show or are a Crown Prince or Qi Prince partisan, please read no further. 2. I'm a university student, and my coursework is heavy this year. I also have another story that's nearly finished, so updates will be slow. Feel free to save this story and read it all together during summer break, when I'll be posting more. But don't forget to leave a comment; I'll be sure to reply. 3. Since this is a TV series fanfic, the timeline, events, and characterizations may differ from historical records. I've added quite a bit and changed some things to make the plot work, especially concerning Li Jiancheng and Li Yuanji. If that's not for you, please don't read on. 4. I've been writing for less than two years, so my prose may not be very good. Still, I'll try not to make the heroine a bland, idealized Mary Sue.
