Yehenara, nicknamed Lan'er, was a member of the Manchu Bordered Yellow Banner. Her father was Huizheng, who had served as a circuit intendant in Anhui. Her husband, Yining, was the Xianfeng Emperor. She was the historically famous Empress Dowager Cixi.
