[Jiang Zhong] A Letter to the Chancellor

This is a story set in the closing years of the Three Kingdoms. It tells of Jiang Wei, who held Shu Han together to the very end, and Zhong Hui, the General Who Pacifies the West, who invaded Shu. The dream of recovering the Central Plains and building a benevolent age passed from Liu Bei to Zhuge Liang, then from Zhuge Liang to Jiang Wei. Even after his state was destroyed, Jiang Wei could not let go of that dream. After the Later Lord surrendered, Jiang Wei decided to befriend the enemy who had destroyed his country, win his trust, and use him to bring about Shu Han's restoration. But will the plan unfold as he hopes? As the two spend time together, Zhong Hui seems to have taken a particular liking to him, a defeated general. What should Jiang Wei do? The entire story is told through letters Jiang Wei writes to Zhuge Liang.
