Meanwhile, the ruler of Jiuzhou was incompetent, eunuchs controlled the imperial harem, and the ruler doted on Tamamo-no-Mae, whose origins and identity were both a mystery. Tamamo-no-Mae was tyrannical and cruel, persecuting loyal officials and conspiring with the eunuchs to wreak havoc, leaving the court in turmoil! Yet even with the Mengman army at the borders, the ruler did nothing. Morale plummeted, and the army was driven back at every turn! At last, the ministers who could no longer accept this state of affairs began to fight back! And somehow, everything happening in the human world seemed to be inextricably linked to Jun Shuxie, who had vanished long ago... A new round of conflict among the three realms is about to begin!
