It took me almost half a year to go from having the idea to actually writing it. It wasn't that I didn't want to; I just kept thinking about Hibari's personality.

After all, this series of fan stories about Katekyo Hitman Reborn! is written from an angle that makes you feel sorry for the protagonist. The problem is, the more I searched for that angle, the more troubled I became.
I just couldn't think of a weakness that belonged to Hibari. After all, he's Kyoya Hibari.
The inspiration came when I was suffering from long-term insomnia. Hibari seemed to like sleeping, so I could only draw on my own experience.
Hibari is my favorite character in Katekyo Hitman Reborn! Because I love him, I can't fully express my understanding of him; as I write, I can't help bringing in my own feelings.
Even if this story doesn't turn out as well as the other two, I still love Hibari, even more than I did the day before. He has all the pride and self-respect I lack. He deserves every one of us to look up to and admire him.
