This isn't an inspirational book. It simply poses a question.
If time is divided into yesterday, today, and tomorrow,
and yesterday matters so much that you can't let it go, you will keep living
in yesterday's shadow, unable to escape. Then you'll turn today
into a repetition of countless yesterdays.
Tomorrow matters too. You hope to make those wishes of yours come true, but
you feel insignificant today and think you can't do it,
so you settle for wishing. Those wishes of yours are about as likely as
winning five million in the lottery.
So there you have it: yesterday is a shadow, and tomorrow is a bubble.
What about today?
Where did it go?
Oh, you lost it!
Li Xiaobin: I'd rather regret doing something than regret doing nothing.
Luo Lin: I'm not who others think I am. I'm who I seek to become.
Li Shuang: Live however you like! Live however comfortably you like! Anyone who spends every day dwelling on the past is an idiot.
