The setting for this chapter is the little town of Sorrento, perched on cliffs above the sea. I visited Sorrento years ago. Like Aix-en-Provence, it doesn't shine with dazzling brilliance. When I was there, I just felt a sense of peace and warmth, and couldn't write anything grand or dramatic. But after I left, it stayed in my heart. Jul 11, 2017 The troupe leader and Coffee weren't exactly innocent from the start, so it makes sense that these two would end up having sex. Hisoka is a sexually deviant serial killer, so you'd think writing sex scenes with him would be easy, but for some reason, I just can't imagine a sex scene for Xima. How do you all feel about Xima having sex? Jul 10, 2017 A few days ago, I came across this story and saw someone asking for an update. I remembered promising last summer to come back and finish this after completing the next volume of At the End of Time. I really feel bad about it. I'd already worked out the framework, the epigraph, and the chapter titles. It shouldn't have been that hard to make progress, but I once lost a draft, and now it's hard to find the right feeling when I open those badly damaged fragments. The original story's battle between Xisuo and the troupe flared up again, and a reader even went to the trouble of messaging me about it on Weibo. That's when I suddenly realized that the original's setup was astonishingly close to what I'd imagined.
