Fan fiction based on The Grave Robbers' Chronicles, featuring Ping Xie. The setting is partly alternate, but the plot is still tied to the original.
The characters are young, and the story includes tomb raiding and grave robbing.
Later on, it turns to business warfare. Since it's a childhood-sweethearts story, the romance is a gradual-build relationship...
Set in the modern era, with appearances by all the characters from the tomb-raiding story, though some details may differ.
The story has a warm, comforting tone, but shifts slightly when it comes to the tomb-raiding elements.
The characters' personalities stay true to the original.
------------------------- Excerpt
"Jiu sounds like 'nine,' meaning the territory of the Old Nines. Yu can mean king or instructor, while jiu means bird of prey. Train them well, and they'll serve you..."
In Wu Xie's world, there was none of the filth and worldliness that others carried in their hearts. Once he had decided who someone was, he would approach and trust them without reservation. That immense, fervent trust was so open and pure, without a trace of impurity, like the pearl he had once owned: even when sunlight passed through it, its shadow remained transparent...
Reading the words and looking at the illustrations in the book, Zhang Qiling turned to the person before him and said, "Wu Xie, don't grow up too fast..."
"Qiling, everything has its own order, but the human heart is full of twists and turns. This must be the lesson you're learning now..."
Following the sound of the wind, he heard Zhang Qiling say from behind him, "Wu Xie... will you... come back again?"
"Xiao Ge, what am I supposed to do in the future if I don't have you...?"
"Wu Xie, even when I'm gone, you should still have other friends..."
The fate of parting, something they would inevitably have to face, finally came crashing down after they had both grown up...
The article is very good. Wu Xie liked it very much in the early stage, but for some reason later on, it became unpleasant. He said he would believe the little brother, but still said those words that hurt him. He vomited blood and was desperate. Xiaohua also blamed the little brother everywhere. It felt that Wu Xie was always under the protection of the little brother. They had to live a lifetime. It was okay for a while, but if it continued, there would definitely be problems. Fortunately, the author stopped here.
I am severely short-sighted and mistook "Master Zhang" for "Aunt Zhang", and ended up laughing silly for a while...
It's really good to read, the author's writing is very good, and the following chapters are very touching.
Why is Yuehua coming again? . . Having Ding Yuehua is annoying enough. . .
Brother Mi You, I feel so uneasy. . .
Tianzhen is surrounded by great gods. . .
A touch of mulberry feeling. . .
Why are there so few messages? . . It's obviously very good-looking. . .
Wherever there is innocence, there is the King of Boring!
Why do we always have to separate? . .
