Uncle, Let's Elope

[Coming Soon: The Black Moonlight Will Never Blow His Cover]

Xie Ronghuai, the emperor's maternal uncle, was born with a pair of emerald eyes and breathtaking elegance. He loved to roam among mountains and rivers,

but...

The emperor offered him high rank and generous rewards, demanding that he clean up the mess or his entire family would be put to death;

The emperor's eldest son became crown prince and wanted to share his bed and rule the world at his side.

One had known him since childhood, while the other had protected him for years. Both made him uncomfortable...

Xie Ronghuai could only say, "Heh."

He had a smile as gentle as the spring breeze, but his heart was cold and unfeeling.

P.S.:

1. The emperor's maternal uncle and the crown prince are not related by blood.

2. This is an old-school story with lots of melodramatic tropes. The setting is fictional, so please don't nitpick the details.

3. See the character list for the main love interest.

4. A big, unmistakable happy ending.
