In each life some rain must fall, some days must be dark and dreary.
-- Henry Wadsworth Longfellow, "The Rainy Day"
In every life, some rain must fall, and some days are destined to be dark and dreary.
-- Henry Wadsworth Longfellow, "The Rainy Day"
The title, "Life Is Elsewhere," borrows a line from Rimbaud and is also the title of a book by Milan Kundera.
Story setting: Harry and Voldemort have already been together for many years, and Hermione and Ron's two kids have started at Hogwarts. This story won't cover how Harry and Voldemort struggled to be together (the truth is, the author is too lazy to come up with that plot). Otherwise, it mostly follows the original canon's "19 years later."
Warning: Midlife crisis. Harry is somewhat of a jerk. An OC makes a brief appearance. Happy ending.
About the extra chapter: One extra chapter has been locked. If readers are interested, they can read it at another address. The link is included in the author's note in Chapter Ten.
Theme:
To be honest, I can accept the snake face vh, but I am still surprised by Gryffindor's courage. After all, I can't do it.
I... I...
I will fantasize about a manly middle-aged LV [not the one without nostrils] [Don't ruin my imagination]
╭(╯^╰)╮hem
It's actually a snake-faced version of LV, and HP is too heavy-duty.
I really like this article, have you been poked? Is Mrs. Woooooo still there?
Etc! Is Harry receiving or attacking here?
This little content is locked [crying]
Harry loves to play, haha, why are these words so similar to what the principal wife said to warn the mistress?
Many are locked QAQ
It's a great novel. I didn't dare to read it at first. The mid-life crisis was very scary, so I read every word carefully. It felt like the Dark Lord was a play that arranged the whole world, and then placed Harry in this world. Although the person trapped at home is the Dark Lord, in fact, it is Harry who is trapped in the end. The author's Dark Lord is actually the most in line with his humanity. It's really great!
I just guessed that the attack or something might be related... QAQ
