1. Blurb:
Qin Wangling graduated from Haida University's School of Ocean Navigation. He left behind a photo of himself in a white sailor's uniform.
Yan Lianyu saw the young man in the photo, frozen at twenty in a white shirt, fresh-faced and handsome.
She didn't know him when he was twenty.
The man she met was already twenty-eight, no longer green, having sailed through countless storms and now wanting only a quiet, ordinary life.
They met again at a yacht party by the sea that night, but Qin Wangling didn't exchange a single word with her. At the end of the evening, he unexpectedly offered, in a casual tone, to drive her home.
He really had been a gentleman all night.
Scene 1: After spending time together, she was both lucky and unlucky enough to meet his standards for a partner.
In the car on Valentine's Day, Qin Wangling confessed softly, "Lianyu, will you be my girlfriend?"
Yan Lianyu sat there dumbfounded and argued with him: "I think of you as an older brother."
Qin Wangling smiled. "Girls call their boyfriends that. I'll let you call me big brother once I'm your boyfriend."
Yan Lianyu couldn't believe he wouldn't even let her call him big brother (giegie) unless they were dating.
Scene 2: When Qin Wangling turned thirty, he wanted to get married.
That night after the wedding, Qin Wangling snuggled close to his wife, his thoughts on one thing.
Yan Lianyu turned her back to him. "..."
Scene 3: They had a falling-out and talked about divorce. Yan Lianyu left on her own to travel.
Qin Wangling chased his wife across thousands of miles. When they met, instead of sweetly coaxing her, he said firmly, "Once you're aboard a pirate ship, you go where the captain takes you. You can't just get on and off my ship whenever you feel like it."
Yan Lianyu: "..."
His ship was easy to board and hard to leave.
A young, independent tour guide VS a straightforward, clingy, respectable man, a first mate who came ashore after conquering the seas
PS: Both are each other's first. Age gap, everyday life. This novel has two couples, published separately. Chapters 1-61 are the complete story of Yan Lianyu and Qin Wangling.
2. The latter part of the novel: The Yinchen arc, the story of Yan Yinchen and He Zhouyu.
Blurb:
Yan Yinchen once pursued He Zhouyu, a student at a neighboring university. She won him over.
After graduating from university, He Zhouyu went his own way, seeking work abroad. Faced with a long-distance relationship across an ocean, he said they could get married, and perhaps that would make their relationship more secure.
Yan Yinchen chose to break up.
After a long separation, the two adults met again in the same city.
That impeccably dressed He fellow kept dragging his feet about his relationship with Yan Yinchen.
As her ex, he wanted to take her place at her side...
A glamorous, refined, confident and fearless female manager in the foreign trade department VS a dapper, cunning and calculating male executive at a shipping group
[The novel is lighthearted overall, with no angst or heartbreak. The first part follows the everyday life of a married couple, one-on-one romance. The second part is about the older sister and her husband.

Thanks for the limited fee. Male thinking and male gaze, holy shit... The unequal and confusing marriage was erased by sweet words again and again. The female protagonist's work planning and emotional expression were restricted, and the male protagonist had a strong desire to control. After reading the book, it seems that it was written ten years ago. It was hard to say anything about the environment at that time. I hope women will be aware of the control under sweet words.
I actually don't quite understand. If the male protagonist really loves the female protagonist, shouldn't he not interfere with the female protagonist's career? Isn't interference in the name of "love" a kind of moral kidnapping?
I was shocked after reading the following comment. Posted: 10 years ago
The heroine's reaction is really real

Oh my god, has it taken me so long to write this story? Hahahaha, this is the fastest story I have ever read and the most straightforward male and female protagonist.
I don't understand, the male protagonist's own family of origin is not that of the female protagonist, so why does the female protagonist always need to be tender and waiting?
Thanks for the limited exemption ~ I was very touched after reading this. I really like this kind of adult marriage. There are not many childish ideas, but more about reality, mutual compromise, and mutual understanding. Although there were differences in the relationship, and I didn't like Qin's relatively strong approach and attitude at the beginning (I even expected Lian Yu to break up with him, hahaha), but later I found that neither of them is very good at falling in love. Perhaps it is true that marriage can become more harmonious only after experiencing some friction. Finally, I would like to thank my wife for making me spend a fulfilling morning.
It is reasonable to suspect that Mr. Qin is the male protagonist who eats the most meat in Jinjiang
