Its enormous tentacles thrashed about. Though their resistance did little, the people on the boat kept fighting with all their might. "Look out!" Shaoguang was shoved from behind and fell onto the slippery deck. He quickly looked back. Gu Buxing had been lifted high into the air by a tentacle. Shaoguang could only watch his face grow more distant, and see the boundless longing for him openly appear in Gu Buxing's eyes for the first time. The tentacle raised Gu Buxing to its highest point, then slammed him down toward the sea. "No!" Shaoguang cried out in anguish. He shouldn't have died. He shouldn't have died. It's all my fault.
