Daoist, Let Go of That Mecha!

Chu Ning arrives in a futuristic world of advanced technology, bringing along a storage space. But can someone tell him why the people fighting these mecha warriors are a group of Taoist masters riding flying swords? Content warning: The story may include intersex characters and pregnancy. The ending is one-on-one, with a warm and cozy tone~~ A little preview of my upcoming book, "[Interstellar] Please Stop Dreaming" Ji Hongyu is an unsuccessful author who hangs around various novel websites. He loves writing, but isn't very good at it, so he often abandons his books midway. Lately, every night he dreams that he's entered one of his own novels, where the characters automatically act out scenes he never wrote. For example, right now, on a bustling street in an ancient market, a fat old man dressed in gold and silver is eating a bun with such a look of delight, as if savoring a rare delicacy. Everyone else at the stall is much the same, eating with blissful expressions. Even the bun seller is staring at the buns and swallowing hungrily. Ji Hongyu, passing by, grows curious and secretly wonders if the shop is run by a descendant of imperial chefs. Are the buns really that good? He buys one too. The moment he takes a bite, he rolls his eyes, gives them all a scornful look, and leaves in silence. Good thing he only bought one. How many plants did this bun shop hire? Are they putting on a show for him? He remembers writing only five words in the story: "a bustling street." These were just passing NPCs, barely mentioned. Where did they get all this drama? Dreaming that he's inside his own novels every night is pretty fun for Ji Hongyu, until one day, he ends up in the Interstellar Age. After spending half a day getting used to his new identity, he logs onto the Star Network and is suddenly hit with a flood of familiar scenes. That's when a whole new world opens up: his nightly dreams have versions from other people's perspectives, too. As it turns out, every night the people of this world are randomly pulled into his novels to play a character or an extra. And that incredibly handsome guy he often teases, who always plays the male lead, is none other than Qian Yi, the crown prince of their empire... Watching the livestream replay and reading the comments, Ji Hongyu feels utterly mortified. He absolutely has to keep his secret identity hidden. There's no way he can let it get out.
