[Slam Dunk] I Won't Tell You Lol

What are teenagers of sixteen or seventeen supposed to be like? Laughing out loud when they're happy, silently shedding tears when they're sad. Or maybe just pouting and smiling a little? Whatever the case, they have the most wonderful and brilliant years of their lives. They can talk without restraint about something called "dreams," and work tirelessly toward them with a determination that can seem almost willful. Slam Rush is a story that strives, within the limits of my modest writing skills and worldview, to hold fast to the tone of the original SD (I'll do my best = =). It aims to build a story about the youthful excitement of boys and girls with no childhood shadows or personality flaws, whose parents are all alive and well, who live safe, comfortable lives, and who each sprint with all their might down their own "road of dreams." So the story begins after the national tournament in the original SD concludes. The timeline departs from the original's 1990s setting, bringing the surrounding society, technological development, and - - anime and literature closer to the era we live in. There may be some jarring bits, so please forgive me.
