Genre: Environmental Fiction
Keywords: Environmental Protection
This book is dedicated to those who work tirelessly to improve the human environment and food safety.
Gao Mingye of Aozikou Village built a chicken farm and got a batch of chicks through his brother-in-law. The chicks were supposedly high-tech products promoted by his brother-in-law's High-Tech Intelligence Agency: extra-large broiler chickens. They had three distinctive traits: they grew huge, ate while lying down, and were ready for market in just over forty days, making them extremely profitable. However, (1) farmers had to undergo training, (2) they had to use specially formulated feed, and (3) they had to add an additive called W. At first, Gao Mingye went to great lengths to get the feed additive. After that, he was startled and frightened time and again...
There were weasels in Aozikou Village. After eating these chickens, the poison took effect. Weasels liked to torment people, and in their unbearable agony, they went after Gao Mingye's frail, frequently ill wife. She sang and made a commotion until she eventually lost her mind. In the end, she died as a result.
After his wife died, Gao Mingye suffered one shock and trauma after another, and before long, he too lost his mind...
