[DCU] Superhero Training Diary (Superman/Batman), Set During and Extending Beyond The Dark Knight Rises

This is an imagined continuation after watching TDKR... The general premise is that future Superman, Kal-El, saves Batman (← the whole world's headcanon), after which Kal asks Bruce for advice on how heroes should save people (is that really going to be okay?!). I haven't figured out what comes next yet (enough already, you're going to scare everyone away!!) The idea comes from TDKR, when Bruce tells Robin, "You need a mask to protect the people around you." Besides continuing TDKR, the plot also draws on DC's vast comic-book lore (I can't wait for Damian to show up!). It's unlikely that any random passersby will be characters from DC canon, but unless the author forgets who they are, the major characters will all be based on someone. You're warmly invited to fall into the enormous American superhero comics rabbit hole, which has been dedicated to wiping out fanfiction for thirty years, especially DC's Superman and Batman comics. The canon has already covered every trope, so I can only take an unconventional path [.
