Strange Tales from the Countryside

There was an old woman in my grandma's family who was very good at calling souls. She was famous far and wide and was very useful. Also, I used to have nightmares every night for a period of time. One night I had a particularly long and very tiring dream, and I felt like I wanted to escape the moment I woke up. Then I no longer had nightmares. Later, my mother told me that that day, my grandfather found a small piece of wood that had been struck by lightning and put it under my pillow. I found it and it had a red string tied to it.
