I used to naively think I’d spend my whole life muddling through, busy and bewildered.
Perhaps the wheel of fate simply loves to toy with women who have no great ambitions.
For no good reason, Heaven sent me back to ancient times, a thousand years after I’d left them, in a single night.
Even if I do sometimes like old-fashioned things, that’s no reason to send me back to the past!
Just thinking about living in an age when men outrank women makes my scalp tingle.
And of all places, I landed in the most embarrassing place imaginable… a coffin.
Why couldn’t I transmigrate somewhere else? Why did it have to be such an unlucky place?
I have no idea what fate has in store for me from here on.
And who was that man in my dream who stole my first kiss… (blushes)?
The memorial tablet says “Tao Tang Clan.” Does that mean I’m already married?
How am I supposed to get along with my husband from now on?
It seems a little early to call him “husband.” I don’t even know his name yet! (Blushing.)
…
I still don’t know what fate has in store for me next.
Damn you, Heaven! Are you punishing me for living such a mediocre life?
This is my first time writing a story, so I hope everyone will offer lots of advice. They say you grow through adversity, haha. I hope my writing gets better and better. Please support me, and thank you!
