I love fighting for rebounds and playing defense; I love scoring even more, but I love passing most of all. I love attacking, but I love controlling the ball even more. When my teammates are on fire, I'm the commander on the court. When they're in a slump, I'm the lone hero who saves the day. I'm no genius. I'm the most reliable Hanamichi Sakuragi in history!
A few things to note:
1. This isn't a romance. The girls are all just background characters, and the guys are all straightforward, passionate types who don't date.
2. This isn't boys' love either. I'm terrible at writing romance, so this is a gen-fic, though I might include a little playful ambiguity [maybe...].
3. This really ought to have been posted on the QD main site, since it's very much in the QD style. I'm just too lazy to register there, so I'm posting it here instead, whether anyone reads it or not.
4. There are two completely original characters.
5. I have an outline, but I'm a snail at typing, and work keeps me busy, so updates will be slow. If there's no update for a long time, it's because the project is busy and I'm working overtime every day. Please wait in weeks, not days [runs off with a pot lid over my head...].

Oh my god, I finished reading it in a few days. It was written ten years ago and it was really great. Now I see that there are no purely competitive articles about slam dunks in the past (face covering). I really like the kind of non-CP competition, but the ones next door all have female protagonists.
