Thank Goodness I Have You (Searching Movie Fanfiction)

After watching Search, I couldn't quite settle down. I truly felt that life is a splendid robe crawling with lice. Looking at the world, I saw only cold human relations, and a sense of desolation rose in my heart. My roommate told me that this was simply how the world worked, and that a happy ending would only seem fake and contrived. I suppose that's true, but I still can't untangle this knot in my heart. I want to change something. This is my first time writing, so please bear with me.
