Character Profiles:
Qiao Yu (Top):
The current president of Huanyu Corporation. He longs for love but won't force it, believing that it's best to let nature take its course. He meets Li Yang when he goes on a blind date at his mother's urging. Before long, he begins to fall for Li Yang and even wants to take care of him for the rest of his life.
Li Yang (Bottom):
Duan Hui's neighbor, a company clerk who's slow to react and has a poor sense of direction. The vivid memory of being abandoned by his mother as a child makes it impossible for him to fall in love with women. Afraid of being alone, he adopts an eight-year-old boy, Li Mo.
Duan Hui:
An employee at the Lily Marriage Agency, and a seasoned fujoshi. After being inspired by a dating show on TV, she thinks there may be gay men being pressured by their families into going on blind dates, so she wants to help them through their troubles. In truth, she just wants to indulge her own fujoshi desires.
Li Yuan:
Qiao Yu's mother. Li Yuan believes today's girls have money on their minds, and that marriage is merely a way for them to obtain wealth, with no connection to love. Unable to bear seeing Qiao Yu remain single, she signs him up at the Lily Marriage Agency. Her only condition is that his match truly love him.
Qiao Rui:
Qiao Yu's father. Although he and Li Yuan met because of their families' interests, their feelings are genuine. He hopes Qiao Yu can find happiness, and would even overlook the gender of the person he loves to make that happen.
Li Mo:
Li Yang's adopted son, a mature yet innocent child. He agrees with Duan Hui that, given Li Yang's circumstances, finding a dependable man would be better for him. So he asks Duan Hui to register Li Yang at the agency, hoping she can find happiness for him.
