Why do people kill?

He Shaoluo, a senior in college, is a screenwriter who has never published a work. Instead of looking for a job, she is searching for her high school friend Xu Qianqing, who has gone missing. Just when things are looking up, a film company contacts her about working on a new movie. Encouraged by her boyfriend, she decides to put her friend's disappearance aside for now and focus on becoming a professional screenwriter.
