The Last Fox Spirit (Complete)

Once, fox spirits roamed this land in great numbers. They would smile as they carried fruit into a room, keeping a down-and-out scholar company as he studied by lamplight. They would search the heavens and the depths of the underworld, all to save the lives of their beloveds. They would dress simply, share a life of harmony with the ones they loved, and stay together until old age. Their stories spread far and wide. How many men and women were captivated by the tales in Strange Tales from a Chinese Studio? To this day, being called a fox spirit is the highest honor a woman can receive. But their love defied the laws of Heaven, making it a doomed romance. Their love changed the fate of kingdoms, making it a threat to the realm. Their love brought the dead back to life, disrupting the natural order. And so the gods of Heaven, Earth, and the mortal realm joined forces in fury, ready to destroy everything in their path. No one knows when it began, but the scholar taking shelter in a ruined temple could no longer wait for the lovely flower who understood his heart. In once-happy homes, wives died and children were lost. All that romance was swept away by wind and rain. Notice: This post will be locked starting May 1, so please act quickly. Sorry. Theme:
