I'm not good at writing stories full of passion or painful pasts. I just want to write, in my own way, about the ancient martial world I've always longed for.
People always say that once you're in the martial world, you have no control over your own fate. But I want to see its heroes truly laugh and cry, and possess a noble spirit that lets them rise above fame, fortune, and conflict. No pretense, no affectation, just genuine bonds.
Of course, I'm still in high school, and I'm not especially good at telling stories. I just want to try a different style and put my heart into finishing this. If it's not well written or you don't like it, please feel free to tell me.
As the poem goes:
For decades, wind and rain have swept through,
How many grudges, debts, loves, and sorrows remain?
A lone sail slips away from its old harbor,
Only to be swept into the turbulent martial world.
The heart cannot bring itself to stop,
Yet neither a thousand letters nor ten thousand rewards could tempt it.
A cup of turbid wine, and still the sorrow lingers,
Helpless, unable to return to last night!
