[Saint Seiya] The Bird of Paradise's Smile

Legend has it that the bird of paradise can fly to heaven, carrying every kind of emotion and longing there.

They live in the depths of the mountains and forests, their bodies covered in brilliantly colored feathers and crowned with huge, dazzling tail plumes. When they soar into the sky, they look like radiant clouds stretching across the heavens, bringing peace and good fortune. Legend says they are divine birds from the celestial realm. They feed on nectar and drink the dew of heaven. The Creator gave them the most marvelous forms and the most splendid plumage, so they could bring happiness and blessings to the mortal world. The bird of paradise is also known as the lovebird. Male or female, once they fall in love, they stay together for life. They never fight or quarrel, but care for and cherish each other forever. If one loses its mate, it will never take another, but will refuse food until it dies.

When one departs, the other will follow close behind, even to the underworld.

Whenever and wherever you are, please never forget that someone you love is waiting for you.
