Ruby [Pokemon]

Ruby gets its English name from the Latin word for red. It belongs to the corundum mineral family and has a trigonal crystal system. Its color ranges from red to pink because of its chromium content; the higher the content, the more vivid the color. Blood-red rubies are the most prized and are commonly known as "pigeon's blood."

Ruby is extremely hard, second only to diamond. Its vivid, beautiful red color makes it worthy of the title "queen of red gemstones." Splendid and magnificent, ruby is the king of gemstones, a treasure above all others, with qualities that surpass every other gem. Some ancient books say that ruby is "the most precious of the twelve gemstones God created when he made all things." ← From Baidu.

Blurb: This is a story about a child growing up alongside spirits. Despite the title, Ruby has nothing to do with the game. It follows the TV anime storyline, starting with the Indigo League.
