[I hurried through these years, all to find your figure again. The peach blossoms are blooming once more. I've learned to brew two jars of wine, one pear blossom wine, also known as Sunny Snow, and one Tusu wine. I... will I still be able to wait for the day when I can drink this wine with you?] Qing Xue closed the journal she'd kept from years ago and gazed at the peach blossoms spread across the hills beyond the window, and at the black-clad figure standing by the stream. She smiled softly, picked up her brush, dipped it in ink, and added a short line beneath the old one. [I've waited long enough. The wine is rich and fragrant, just waiting to be drunk.]
A second-anniversary tribute to Gu Jian, pairing Su and Xue. It recounts some of Qing Xue's major experiences over those nine hundred years.
The story gets a little angsty along the way, but has a happy ending. A Mo is starting ninth grade, so updates may be irregular, but I promise I won't abandon the story.
P.S. This is a short story and I'll finish it as soon as I can, so please don't just read without leaving a comment
