[Pili / Twins] Cutting Off the Wings

The Four Qi Realm is a space connected from top to bottom by the Four Qi Tree, linking four nations. From top to bottom, they are the Poetic Heaven City, the Tower of Ciguang, the Slaughtered Islet, and the Infernal Buddhist Prison. The four nations can travel directly between one another. However, the resources of the Four Qi Realm, known as the Four Qi Heavenly Source, are unevenly distributed, sparking conflicts among the nations. Poetic Heaven City has no dealings with other realms. The Tower of Ciguang appears free but is hypocritical beneath the surface. The Slaughtered Islet favors men over women, while the Infernal Buddhist Prison is aggressively expansionist. In the last war, the Infernal Buddhist Prison was completely wiped out. The Slaughtered Islet's King Jiwuwang was exposed as a woman disguised as a man, then suffered a calamity and was driven into exile. Later, she took revenge by slaughtering the island. In the end, the Lord of Ciguang sacrificed his chief minister and used a scheme to lure her into another realm, then destroyed the passage leading there. She died in that realm. The Tower of Ciguang emerged as the greatest victor. In that other realm, she met Jian Zhichu, the greatest swordsman in the Four Qi Realm. They might have hoped to retire together, but she was caught in a vortex of hatred. She died in a battle in Warcloud Dream Marsh against the Demon Queen and Haotianqiong, leaving behind only a pair of twin brothers known as the Saint and Demon Twins. The twins faced countless trials in the other realm, unable to escape their fate. In the end, the Demon Twin died. No matter how often he was rejected or deceived, he never gave up on his brother, for they were bound together by blood. He would use every means at his disposal to bring his younger brother back to life. Our story begins here. For now, updates are planned twice a day >_
