The Mortal World's Haze

He hated him, and he loved him. His love turned everything upside down.

He despised him, yet chose to defy heaven and become pregnant.

What was there to fear in defying fate? Even if three lifetimes of war couldn't win a single lifetime of your favor, he wasn't afraid. He only asked for one thing: to settle their old scores once and for all.

"What gives you the right to love me?"

"I only want you to forget what happened. You can take my kingdom. I'll abdicate and let you rule in my place."

"I'll take your hatred with me. I only ask that you forget. Forget those years we shared, and forget me, too."

The grudges and grievances of the previous generation were borne by the foolish man who loved him so dearly.

In the end, there would be nothing left to say.
