Synopsis

This is a Final Fantasy VII: Crisis Core fanfic, so chocobos and the like are just window dressing. At most, they'll make the occasional cameo. Who can blame me for being so fond of the older guys?

Also, Zack is the main character, and the pairing is Zack and Sephiroth. If that's not your thing, please don't read.

P.S. Since playing Crisis Core made me fall hopelessly in love with Zack, I gave him an overpowered boost without a second thought. There's no way I'm letting him die at the hands of a bunch of Shinra grunts again! (Honestly, I don't think my wish fulfillment is all that extreme. In the game, Zack was dragged off by Hojo and soaked in mako, and he was completely fine, even managing to escape with the chocobos. The chocobos, on the other hand, got mako poisoning. Goes to show that not even Jenova can shake Zack's genes!)

P.P.S. Because of my personal preference... when Zack first appears, ahem, he's still a cute little boy!

Stories I Could Finish and Still Think Were Great

I dropped a lot of these partway through, and finished plenty more only to find them underwhelming. This list covers a long stretch of time, but overall these are the books I’ve loved most at different stages of my life.
