Demon Hunter: The Mysterious Yin Sect

A demon hunter, literally speaking, drives demons away. In truth, the job is to send spirits lingering in the human world back to the underworld. Why not call them demon senders? The heads of the three great demon-hunter sects thought "demon sender" sounded awkward, so they simply settled on "demon hunter." The three great demon-hunter sects are the Zhenyang Sect, the Xuanyin Sect, and the Yinyang Sect. The Zhenyang Sect uses the power of the gods to send all kinds of ghosts and monsters away. Its members can merge with gods or demons to increase their spiritual power. The Xuanyin Sect uses the power of ghost soldiers from the underworld to beat ghosts back there. Its descendants are demon hunters in the mortal realm and civil servants in the underworld. The Yinyang Sect falls under neither the mortal realm nor the underworld. It occupies a gray area. Its descendants usually use special methods to send ghosts and monsters from the mortal realm to the underworld, but most ghosts and monsters are beaten half to death before being sent back. The Yinyang Sect has few male heirs. Usually, a family has three daughters before a son is born. To ensure the clan's survival, the Yinyang Sect once allowed its members to have multiple wives. But after the arrival of socialism, they had to follow monogamy, so there are very few descendants of the Yinyang Sect today. Not only the Yinyang Sect, but the Xuanyin and Zhenyang Sects have also seen their numbers dwindle.
