Gat Hayato

Pilots of the Getter Robo:

Unit 1: Ryoma Nagare

Unit 2: Hayato Jin

Unit 3 (original): Musashi Tomoe; (Getter Robo G): Benkei Kuruma

Professor Saotome: Years ago, he began researching Getter Rays and developed the Getter Robo, a robot powered by Getter Rays, to fight the Dinosaur Empire.

Tatsuhito Saotome: Killed when the Dinosaur Empire attacked the research institute. Off to the afterlife to collect his bento.

Michiru Saotome: Professor Saotome's daughter. In the original manga, she's little more than eye candy, but in the anime she pilots the supply ship and is a reserve member of the Getter Team. In the Super Robot Wars series, she pilots the practically useless Getter Q...

Genki Saotome: Professor Saotome's son. He attends Asama Elementary School.

Professor Shikishima: The ultimate mad scientist, unmatched in weapons design. They say he fought in World War II. He's the sort of guy who planned out his own death long ago and is very particular about the pose, expression, and overall look he'll have when he dies.

Since character designs and personalities XD vary between versions from different eras, this is just a brief introduction.

The supporting cast also varies slightly from one version to another.

About Me

It was originally just a hot-blooded robot anime, but the protagonist is just too adorable!!! (Those sideburns, aaahhhhh!!) [spits]

It sent my fujoshi instincts into overdrive, and I got the urge to start writing again, just to entertain myself and brainwash my friends.

And so this thing was born. There probably aren't many people who share my opinion, at least not here. Other countries... heh, that's another story.

Anyway:

Hayato x Ryoma forever!!

Self-indulgence and brainwashing are the best! XD
