In 231 AD, when Qin began to plan to unify the world, Cheng Miao, a master of official script, was imprisoned.
In the blink of an eye, ten years later, in 221 BC, Qin unified the world, and Li Si became prime minister. He submitted a petition with the same text, and Yingzheng ordered Li Si and Hu Wujing to take charge. Li Si organized a calligraphy survey office and found out that the Qin seal script was the authentic one in the world. Yingzheng was so happy that he ordered the Qin seal script to be used as the standard for writing the same text. After Hu Wujing picked up Cheng Miao from prison, he knew that Li Si would not let Ying Zheng receive the official memorial in order to make the seal script that he was good at become a unified text. In order to avoid Li Si, Hu Wujing used Zhao Gao directly presented the memorial slips and Cheng Miao's official scripts in thousands of words. Ying Zheng knew that official scripts were convenient, so he ordered Li Si and others to make three volumes of seal script model slips, and also gave the official scripts the name "official script" to help Qin's seal scripts be unified in the world. After Li Si knew this, out of selfishness, he secretly found out that Cheng Miao and Wang Cizhong, an outsider, had created the official script together, so he imprisoned Cheng Miao and Wang Cizhong for leaking state secrets. In the end, Yingzheng was impressed by the nine boards of official script created by Cheng Miao and Wang Cizhong's character, and released Cheng Miao and Wang Cizhong. At this point, the three model slips of seal script and the nine large boards of official script were born, and were issued to the world along with the "Book of Tongwen Zhao".
