My Date with a Zombie: Mao You's Fate

"I still remember the girl in 'Jiangshi 3,' so devoted and sincere, warm on the outside and inside, yet more levelheaded than most. She had the talent to achieve in one month what would take an ordinary person ten years of training, but sadly, the wrong people wasted her years and ruined her life. In the end, death brought her story to a close. This is why I wrote this story: out of my heartfelt love for the 'Jiangshi' series, and my resentment over Mao You's fate." That was written in 2012. Six years have passed, and my outlook has changed so much that no metaphor can describe it. I cringe when I read my old writing, but my love for the characters in this show is genuine. So, encouraged by a friend, I've decided to make another attempt at fulfilling a dream. At the very least, I'll finish this novel. A reminder: this is not a transmigration story, and the main personalities of all the characters will remain unchanged. The main events may be altered to varying degrees. Since this is a classic TV series from a bygone era, most readers probably don't remember much of the plot. In the new sections, I'll describe events in more detail. The couples remain unchanged. Let's keep the dream alive for all the Jiangshi fans! Forgive me, I didn't know how to cherish you back then, and only acted willfully, making a mess of things I only hope that, at this moment, you can hear my heart in the void If we truly have another date in the future, we'll see it through And truly find such deep love again With heaven as my witness, I will guide you
