Pact of All Living Beings (Twelve Kingdoms Fanfiction)

He said, "I don't want useless dead weight by my side. Since you chose me as your king, you must be of use to this country and to my position. "Everyone in this country is my subject, including the Mountain Dwellers, the Sea Dwellers, and the half-beasts. Anyone who opposes me will die. That is their fate. "Since you chose me as your other half, I will never let you go again. Heaven or hell, you will have to come with me..." PS: I just noticed a flaw in my setting. I had made Le Jun a commoner, but commoners couldn't be immortal like officials and emperors. So it didn't make sense for the Kingdom of Qing to have existed for centuries as I originally planned, and I've shortened the time it has been around. I also thought long and hard about Shaohao being a Taiguo, which should mean he can't understand the language of the Common World. In the end, I decided to change that. Well, so he could interact with people in daily life, Xia Nan can understand the language of Kunlun and taught Shaohao the language of the Common World. I've been badly stuck lately and really can't write, so I've decided to take a break from updating for a while. I'm working hard on another Harry Potter fic now, so anyone who's interested is welcome to check it out. I promise I won't abandon this story. PS: One of my friends has repeatedly made me swear that I won't drop this Twelve Kingdoms fic! I felt the timeline was a bit confusing, so I've decided to revise it before continuing. The story will be locked for a while and updates will resume once it's unlocked. Thanks to Leiting Yeshen for the gift. I've been busy with other things and haven't had a chance to properly thank you. I'm so sorry.
