(This story is based on the TV drama The Secret History of Taizu. I, Ting, absolutely adore Zhao Hongfei's portrayal of Šurhaci. Sadly, the character's fate is just too tragic, so I decided to write a story for my beloved Xiao Shu. The story is fictional and differs from history. You know the deal: my story's setting already doesn't match history.)
