The protagonist transmigrates to the world of HP with memories of his previous life. After entering Hogwarts, he becomes a Slytherin. He isn't very familiar with the original story and only hopes to safely make it through the dangerous years, without having his life compromised for the sake of his family.
This story isn't weak, pretentious, or saintly. As for whether it'll hit any landmines, I can't guarantee that.
The protagonist may have no romantic pairing. Survival comes first.
There will absolutely be no vampires, elves, or other bloodlines in this story, nor any supernatural abilities beyond magic.
The author is writing this in their spare time while working on a thesis. Graduation, internships, and job hunting come first.
