Qi Gu: The Green Snake

This story is an expanded version of the MV work "Green Snake" by Qing Shan Wu Mei (Dan Wei Jun Gu). I have obtained the creator's permission. In the late Northern Song Dynasty, the rebel army of Lianyun Stronghold won the people's support and became a thorn in the court's side. Around this time, Qi Shaoshang, the stronghold's chief, happened upon Gu Xichao, a snake demon. The two hit it off at once and developed feelings for each other. Later, Qi Shaoshang invited Gu Xichao to live at Lianyun Stronghold. Wei Feng, who was in love with Gu Xichao, grew jealous of their devotion to each other, so she unjustly slaughtered civilians and framed Gu Xichao. Knowing disaster was near, Qi Shaoshang went along with events and forced Gu Xichao to leave. In the end, Lianyun Stronghold was destroyed, and Gu Xichao rescued Qi Shaoshang. They thought they would spend the rest of their lives together, but another twist of fate awaited them. Fahai of Jinshan Temple insists on capturing the demon. What kind of ending awaits this love that defies the laws of heaven and human nature? Originally, I locked this story because I felt the two fell for each other too quickly, from their first meeting to their growing affection. I prefer a subtle, gradual attraction, with feelings warming as they spend more time together. But some things have happened recently, and after thinking it over, I unlocked it again. After all, I wrote it myself, and whether it's good or bad, it reflects how I felt at the time. If I really can't stand it in the future, I'll revise it then. Theme:
