(Unofficial Legend of the Galactic Heroes Fanfiction) Messenger of the Star Sea

This probably isn't really a fanfic based on Legend of the Galactic Heroes. I just feel that every regime, no matter what kind, will rise, decline, and eventually be overthrown and rebuilt. This time, let the Alliance I love so much be the victor. It's only a short story, but I couldn't help creating an enormous backstory again...

A century later, under the Lohengramm Dynasty, there are no familiar surnames or faces, and countless admirals have fallen. Humanity is gradually heading toward extinction because of war. All communications facilities have been destroyed, and most of the star lanes and jump points are blocked by the wreckage of warships. So people can only drift through the endless galaxy, waiting for messengers from the far side of the stars, bringing hope and news of other survivors, bringing new routes and hope to connect those isolated from one another by loneliness, searching for their scattered kin deep in the galaxy, and for the loved ones they lost contact with after the war.

I have always believed that he must be on some planet I have never reached. No matter how endless the search and how deep the loneliness, no matter how full of danger and radiation, I will keep traveling, because what connects us is not news or companionship, but the hearts that miss each other.
