This is the story of an unremarkable girl living alongside the Fourth Hokage and his wife.

This is the story of a girl who grows stronger for the sake of the person she loves.

This is the story of how she grows into a mature and steady young woman.

Perhaps at first, she did everything for them. But as she kept trying, she gradually came to understand: you can't live just for someone else. First, you have to find your own place in the world, then strive to become stronger for the people you love.

The heroine is neither useless nor a genius. On the surface, she's a little introverted. She gets uneasy and quiet around strangers, and doesn't like being the center of attention. Though she hardly has any presence to begin with, she isn't overly timid and shy like Hinata. Deep down, she's a tsundere with a slight tendency to crack jokes, and a cheerful girl with sound values. (Or so she seems.)

Note: This story may stray quite a bit from canon, since not much is known about what happened during the Fourth Hokage's time. But once we get to the Nine-Tails, things will proceed as usual. In the end, Minato and Kushina will still end up together. I love those two too much. The story mostly follows the anime, so please don't mind the differences from the manga.

My writing is pretty poor. I've always wanted to write something really exciting, but when I read it myself, it feels rather bland. It might even be as dull as plain water. But no matter what, this is something I've worked hard to write, so if you don't like it, please don't read it.
